The Loewe Squeeze is one of Jonathan Anderson's most quietly inventive final contributions to the maison — a soft, gently pleated hobo bag whose defining feature is the pair of leather knot ties at either end that visually "squeeze" the body into its distinctive sculpted silhouette. Crafted from butter-soft Nappa lambskin, the Squeeze arrived to instant acclaim and has quickly become one of the maison's defining modern signatures. To care for a Squeeze is to preserve a bag whose beauty depends entirely on the tension between softness and structure.
The Squeeze's defining feature — its pleated body, cinched at either end by leather knot ties — is also its central care challenge. Stored empty, the pleats can flatten unevenly, and the softly gathered body loses its dimensional sculpting. Over time, unsupported pleats settle into permanent creases that erase the bag's most distinctive detail. A bag pillow shaped to the Squeeze's interior, finished in satin and gently filled, restores the pleated silhouette during rest, holding the leather in suspension so each pleat rests in its original position rather than flattening under its own weight.

On chain-strap versions, a satin chain wrap prevents the metal from resting against the delicate lambskin. On leather-strap versions, the strap creases at its fold and buckle points and is best stored coiled gently rather than buckled tight.

A breathable satin dust bag, fully enclosing the Squeeze, shields the Nappa from dust, humidity, and UV fade while letting the leather breathe — Loewe's porous Nappa is particularly vulnerable to sealed plastic, which traps the moisture the leather cannot tolerate.
